This is my first original character I've made for my world. Although he's been slowly sliding from the main character position he's still the only one I've had time to draw fully.

Here's a quick bio:

Velld Miseria born into a noble elven house had a happy, normal childhood. Unfortunately for him his father, Xrael, was extremely religious and superstitious. He was not of a normal elven blood line, he had in fact been tainted by lycanthrophy. But not the same form werewolves are associated with, this is more of an 'on command' and useful tool. Also, it was not limited to a wolf but the host was baptised with the spirit of an animal with which he would be cursed to live with. Xrael's family always had the heart of a dragon and it was ment for Velld and his twin (though not identical) brother were to be baptised. On the way to the dragon which was to be killed for the brothers Velld was attacked by a hawk which left a very unappealing scar on his face. His father was in shock, this could only be a bad omen for both Velld and Zatch so he had them both disposed of in the neighboring kingdom. Zatch managed to make it in the organized crime ring, but Velld became a begger and lowlife living off the streets. At the age of 21 his luck would become even worse when he would be attacked by a vampire and ultimately forced to endure 3 lives of misery.


The drawing:

This was my first attempt at drawing on the computer and I like how it came out. Nothing was digitally enhanced and it is all done by hand including the fading from pixel shade to pixel shade (excluding the JPG distortion). I especially like the detail on hands and ripples in clothing. And nevermind that tree in the corner. I tried to make fungus but failed. ^^
